4. LubanCat-1 series hardware introduction¶
LubanCat-1 series is a low power consumption, high-performance single-board computer designed based on RockChip RK3566 launched by Embedfire Technology. The complete hardware resources are reserved, and the needs of users are fully considered. While the cost is optimized, as many peripheral functions as possible are introduced.
Due to the excellent performance of RK3566, even in some occasions that require high computing performance, it is still competent. This series of boards is mainly aimed at makers and embedded developers, and introduces most of the commonly used peripherals. While pursuing high cost performance, it can easily run Linux or Android systems.
LubanCat-1 series boards provide complete SDK driver development kits, design schematic diagrams and other resources, which are convenient for users to use and secondary development.

4.2. LubanCat-1S¶
4.2.1. Product description¶
LubanCat-1S is a product jointly created by Embedfire Technology Co., Ltd. and WHEELTEC. In addition to including the LubanCat board SDK, it also includes software support for LubanCat’s robot peripheral hardware. The two parties will integrate their respective advantageous resources to create a full-chain closed-loop developer ecology from development boards to robots and build a bridge from development board ecology to robot ecology, so as to better meet the growing domestic substitution needs of domestic universities and scientific research institutions.
LubanCat-1S uses a SOC including quad-core Cortex-A55 processor, Mali G52 2EE graphics processor and energy-efficient NPU, with Gigabit Ethernet port, HDMI, USB3.0, MINI PCI-E, MIPI and other peripherals. While introducing high-usage interfaces and high-usage interfaces, some interfaces and peripherals with low utilization rates are deleted, so that the cost performance is significantly improved, and the reserved general-purpose interfaces such as USB and MINI PCI-E further expand the board. usage scenarios.
This allows LubanCat-1S not only to be used as a high-performance single-board computer, but also as an embedded motherboard for various scenarios such as display, control, and network transmission.
注解
The difference between LubanCat-1 and LubanCat-1S in hardware is: LubanCat-1S does not have emmc, and directly uses SD card to run the system, which is more cost-effective!!!
