The Embedfire configuration tool is a script tool created by Embedfire, in order to facilitate readers to use the board.

Instructions:

sudo fire-config

Operation method:

• Arrow keys for mobile selection

• Press the Enter to enter the function configuration page

• Press the Esc to return to the previous level

10.1. Set the pin multiplexing function (Need to reboot to apply the configuration)

The pin reuse of different boards may be different. Please configure according to the actual situation. When setting multiple functions, please check whether the pins are reused. If they are reused, some functions will not work normally.

• Press the space to select the option you want to configure (multiple selection)

• Press the confirm button to complete the configuration (it will automatically return to the previous level)

10.2.1. RK3566

You can see that it currently supports the switching of four screens models, and you can choose according to the following methods according to your own needs.

Operation method

10.2.2. RK3568

Because RK3568 supports dual-screen different display, the configuration of RK3568 will be different from that of RK3566. RK3568 adds additional control of HDMI.

• HDMI configuration: Move the cursor to HDMI, and then press the confirmation key to enter the HDMI configuration menu.

• Enable means that HDMI is turned on

• Disable means that HDMI is turned off

• You can move the arrow keys to select according to your needs, and then press the confirm key to complete the operation.

• MIPI configuration: Move the cursor to MIPI, and then press the enter key to enter the MIPI configuration menu.

You can turn on or off the MIPI screen according to your needs

10.4. Touch screen rotation

At present, this tool only supports the image version as the desktop version, and only supports the touch screen of Embedfire 5.5-inch screen (1080p) and Raspberry Pi 5-inch screen. This function needs to be used after entering the desktop.

• First enter the following interface

• Then go to the next page

• Then you can enter the configuration interface

Others in it can be configured by yourself, and you need to enter a nine-digit matrix information. For details, please refer to the screen and touch chapter in the Quick User Manual.

This configuration can be used without restarting.
